Mirosoft Word XP 2003

I try to save a doc, and it turns it to a ~temp file, and I lose all my
information. WHY? It doesn't do this all the time.
 
Hi

Are you opening a document from an email, and then working on it? If so, you
need to save the document from the email to your hard drive. Then do File >
Open in Word to open the file.
