Minor LAN problem

I have two XP Home machines - Bernard and Kenneth. All drives on both
machines are set to share. I can see Bernard's drive icons in Network
Places on Kenneth and vice-versa. I can open the Kenneth drives from
Bernard and view the folders and files, but not vice-versa.

Suggestions?

Now I can't open icons from either machine. I am not aware of changing
anything.

Is there possibly a XP LAN trouble-shooting utility around?

It was the damn fitrewall again. How can I tell Tiny Personal Firewall
2.0.15A not to block LAN connections/ports?
