Minor but very frustrating problem

I just installed Outlook and like it, but it does one thing which I cannot
tolerate. When accessing my Hotmail to synchronize, it automatically deletes
all new emails on the hotmail account. It transfers them to the Outlook
inbox on my computer. I do not want Outlook to automatically delete these
emails. Please help.

Howdy,

No expert I, but...

There is an option to "leave a copy of messages on the
server." Its location depends on your version, so check the
helpfile. I am not certain that it will work as you wish
with Hotmail, but hey...

Check the Advanced tab of your account properties pages for a "Leave a copy
of messages on the server".
