I need serious Warez

I just got the new 5400 II two days ago. I was wondering how soon
can Ed get a working version of Vuescan for the new unit. Or what
is his avg time?

Why don't you drop him a line (feature request), it'll give him a
signal that he may want to obtain a unit to reverse engineer the
command set. Maybe the command set is close to identical to the 5400
model, but there are still a few obvious differences (no
Grain-Dissolver, different light source), so he'll need some input
(log file) to be able to do anything.

Just ask him if the request came through. Ed Hamrick doesn't waste
many words, and given the increased the number of updates lately he is
apparently spending most of his time programming, not confirming
message receipts. For all we know he is already trying to get hold of
a scanner for testing.
