What is the minium required components to have a working IP network
connection on Windows XP Embeddes Sp2?

/Jonas

Hi Jonas,

1. Ndis
2. Drivers for your network adapter.
3. TCP/IP Networking (basicaly you only need part that install composite TCP/IP driver)
4. Transport Driver Interface

Although this all depend on your definition of working IP network connection.

All of these components i have installed, But i don't get the image to work.
I am basically building a Kiosk PC, that should only have a Internet
Explorer, and able to browse the web.

But then i start the image, Internet Explorer gives me a error that i don't
have a Internet Connection..
So.. some component i must have missed.. but which one?..

Giving you a list of that i have checked under Network Application
Compatibility.. which ones should be checked and which ones should be
unchecked?

Hi Jonas,

Now I wonder why did you asked for "Minimum IP Network Connection"?

Try adding "TCP/IP Utilities" component that contain ping.exe. And then use ping.exe to check your IP connection.
Also look at device manager to se if your net connection is working.

ipconfig would better suite checking needs
