I'm trying to find out what size computer (laptop?)and
what type of projector is needed for Powerpoint. I
volunteer for a non-profit organization that has the
Office software but has never used Powerpoint. We want to
start taking Powerpoint presentations around town, and we
are trying to determine the hardware needs/costs.

Well, I had PPT 2000 running on my PII 400KHz Gateway computer with
Windows98. I think I have 128MB RAM in that and mmmm, maybe a 10G
harddrive?

The upshot is that you don't need a ton of juice to run PPT 2000. But do
put in as much RAM as you can.

As for projectors, I'd imagine almost any out now will support PPT 2000
still.
