Minimizing all Application at once

Is there an easy way to minimize all open applications at
the same time? Is there a shortcut key stroke to do this
as apposed to minimizing each and every application
individually?

On the Quick Launch toolbar, there should be a "Show Desktop" icon that
will do what you want. Your taskbar right-click context menu should also
have this entry.

For WinXP, right-click on the taskbar and enable "show quick launch". This
will reveal the win98-style quick launch bar. You will find the icon there.
