Minimized Windows Disappear

Here's one that I hope someone might be able to answer. I
played around with a theme program (First mistake). Now,
whenever I minimize an open window to the task bar, it
disappears (what appears be behind the START button). If
I try to remove quick launch (to see if the minimized
windows is there), the entire task bar disappears and
cannot be restored.

Any ideas
