Minimized applications hidden from the taskbar

My taskbar does't show any programs when minimized. I
have searched to no end trying to find the solution to
this problem. I found a solution, a worm called "Friend
Greeting application" worm and all the sugested ways to
rid this from my system but it is not on my system. I
dont know if there is a new varient of this worm not
discovered or if there is another simple explination. I
did a full virus scan (NAV) but nothing.
 
Right click on the clock area. Go to properties. On the bottom of the
screen, click "customize". Do you see your icons there?
