Milo: Dictation tool

I was tooling around a few months ago looking for something and discovered a
tool that allowed me to do dictation into my microphone and have it type the
words fairly accurately into Word and Outlook. I had to read a bunch of
paragraphs into the computer so it would learn my voice. Worked pretty well
and, with a mild arthritis, it came in handy sometimes.

The tool put a button on my taskbar that allowed me to toggle the microphone
in and out of dictation mode.

After a recent harddrive crash, I've reloaded all that I know I can, but I
don't see that tool in XP. I don't know where I found it the first time
because, after the initial installation, all i ever used was the toggle
button.

Does anyone know if XP or Office 2003 or Windows Media Player or something
else that is a basic tool includes a free dictation tool? If so, where is
it? I DO miss it.

In Microsoft Word click on the "Tools" button then in the drop down click on
"Speech". Follow the instructions from there.

Great! I bet that's it. I'll load it this afternoon.

Second part of the question: I'm sure I've lost the half-hour or so I spent
reading into it the first time so that it would know my voice. Would hate to
lose that again.
Is there any way of backing that up so another hard drive crash wouldn't
require that time again?
