Start with confirming that drivers are available for all systems and
peripherals. You'll want to disconnect all non-essential peripherals (i.e.
mouse, keyboard, video and network only) during the install.

Run the Upgrade Advisor, available on the XP CD, to identify things that
must be removed, such as antivirus, firewalls, etc.

Hi Patrick,

Thanks for that it was really helpful, but what i'm having the most blank
memory with is what i need to get the end users to do with their computers
before i start the migration????

Ensure they are backed up.
