Hi,
I need to register about 100 NT WS to a windows 2000
domain. Those computers are belong to an NT domain.
So I have two domains (2k and NT) and I need to register
all existing NT machines in w2k domain. my question is, is
there any way to migrate them automatically with no need
to register every individual machine.
Thanks for any help.

Rob,

Take a look at ADMT v2. You might also look at NETDOM but
I am not sure if this will help you in your current
situation.

I suggest also reviewing Ch 10: Restructuring Windows NT 4.0 Domains to an
Active Directory Forest in Designing and Deploying Directory and
Security Services (http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?LinkId=15308) in the
Microsoft Windows Server 2003 Deployment Kit
(http://www.microsoft.com/windowsserver2003/techinfo/reskit/deploykit.mspx).
This chapter describes our recommended practices for
restructuring using ADMT and is also applicable for Windows 2000.

Active Directory Migration Tool v.2.0 is available at
(http://microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?FamilyID=788975b1-5849-4707-981

I also suggest the microsoft.public.windows.server.migration newsgroup for
migration related discussions.
