midi options for xp

i am trying to open my sound card so i can play midi kar
files on my xp but i cannot get the midi option when i
open my mixer
 
Dear Jimbo, I am trying to connect up a casio music keyboard via a usb midi connector that I bought to my pc which is running Windows XP Home edition but I don't know where to start. Any ideas or advice you can give me ? Best regards Rob
 
hi rob i am sorry but i have only been at this game of computing for six months myself but keep trying and if i do get any info on how i will let you know
