Microstation drawing files

I am trying display Microstation drawing files out of a directory from
ACCESS. I am able to have the drawings saved in the database and displayed,
but not by using a path to the drawing in a directory.

Do you have any tips on this or some Visual Basic Code that makes this
possible?

Thanks.

Hello Roger,

I liked the hyperlink idea, but being somewhat of a newbe to access visual
basic, I just built a hyperlink column, put my hyperlinks there and accessed
them through a text box on a form.

What are the drawbacks, if any, to this approach?

No drawbacks, you just have to add them manually. If you're comfortable
with that, that's fine. My sample shows how to use the File Open/Save
dialog box to browse to a file and add the hyperlink to your table. It's
just a little more user friendly. Perhaps later, when you are a little more
comfortable with VB, you'll want to incorporate it.
