I have MicrosoftXP Home Ed and I cannot find where
MicrosoftWord and other microsoft accesses are. I
downloaded a viewer for PowerPoint. I don't know what to
do to get any of the other things. Is it already on my
comp and I don't see it or what?? Please post ASAP!!!

Open the front or back door to your home, walk to your car
and drive to a store, buy OFFICE.
Drive home and enter the door. Place the newly purchased CD
in the drive and install it.

Windows XP Home is an operating system and does not come
with applications.

All true. For a while, many PCs were shipped with both some
M$ Windows OS *and* some flavor of M$ Orifice pre-installed.
That practice has, it seems, become rare: now, you don't get
M$ Orifice on your new PC unless you asked for and paid for it.

Only if you paid extra for the pleasure. Although it's possible that some PC
manufacturers bundled the price in already & didn't allow for custom builds
without it...

Now, MS Works was and still is often installed on consumer PCs.

1) Go to store/shop that sells computer software.

2) Purchase either Microsoft Access and Word or a Microsoft Office
suite that
contains them.

3) Return home.

4) Insert installation CD in PC's CD drive and follow the on-screen
prompts and instructions to install application and desired additional
features.

Neither the Microsoft Office application suite, nor any of its
individual component applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access,
Outlook, etc.), have _ever_ been "part" of *any* Windows operating
system. They are, and always have been, separate applications, that
must be purchased and installed separately.
