I am running Microsoft 2002 and have another person
running Microsoft XP. When the other person tries to open
an Excel file XP does not recognize the formula with
NETWORKDAYS in it. It gives him erros messages with the
NAME as the error. Does the XP have to be updated???

Thanks
Frank

Presumably you mean Microsoft *OFFICE* 2002 or XP. Microsoft has many products,
and both Windows and Office have 'XP' versions, and in the case of Office and,
therefore, Excel, XP is the exact same version as 2002.

The NETWORKDAYS function is provided by the Analysis ToolPak, which comes with
Excel but isn't loaded by default. The user getting the #NAME? error needs to
use Tools > Add-Ins... to select and check the entry for the Analysis ToolPak in
the Add-Ins dialog.
