Can anyone help, I recently had to send my presario 2100 laptop back to be
repaired after various problems sinceI brought the damn thing. On return I
have all of the programmes that originally came with the computer, but now I
can not register Microsoft Works online.

I am being asked to input a valid PID number and have located this how the
help advises me to do so, but I am still being told that this PID number is
invalid, I have determined the differene between o & 0 and am still being
told it's invalid.

What do I do now? HELP

Contact the OEM who supplied you with the software.
(In other words - those you bought the computer from.)

This is a good time to mention that programs like Belarc Adviser (www.belarc.com) become invaluable.
With the print-out from Belarc before the repair, you would have all the software key codes printed
out.
