I am running Win98 and when I boot up my PC it loads a new microsoft word doc ready for use, basically a clean word page. Again, I am running Win98, and on boot up it starts a new word doc. Any more Ideas on how to stop this from loading on start-up

Not sure what this has to do with this newsgroup...
microsoft.public.windowsxp.setup_deployment

However, it sounds like you have something in your startup folder (look
throug your start menu) or, with Windows 98 - in win.ini or system.ini or in
the registry...

Start --> run and type in:

msconfig

look under the startup tab..

Picked a group at random, did we? It looks like it - otherwise you'd have
realised that this group has nothing to do with either 98 or Word.
