Where do I go on the internet to get microsoft word I removed it from my
programs by mistake.
Probably you only deleted the shortcut from the Start menu.
Open the folder C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office. Under that there should be a
folder named "Office10" or "Office11" or "Office12", depending on which version
you have. Inside that folder should be a file named WinWord.exe.
If you see that file, you can put a shortcut to it on the Programs menu again.
Open the Start menu, right-click the Programs item, and click Explore. If you
want the icon to be in a submenu of the Programs item, open that folder. Then
right-click in a blank area of the folder and choose New > Shortcut. The
shortcut wizard will start, and it asks you to locate the file for the shortcut.
Browse to the WinWord.exe file, then follow the rest of the prompts.
If the WinWord.exe file or the whole Office folder is missing, then you really
did delete the program. You can't download anything from the Internet to fix
this -- you must use the installation CD. If you lost that, visit
