extremely rude. When you post in all caps, you will be ignored by most in
these forums.
Now...to answer your question;
Microsoft WORD is not and had never been a part of any version of
Windows. It is a separate utility that is included in Microsoft Office, or
is sold separately as a stand alone product. Many computers come with a
timed trial version (60 to 90 days), after which you MUST purchase a full
version to continue using it. System Restore only restores system files,
and will not restore applications installed by the user (in general terms).
You must install Word from the disc that was originally used to install it
(Not the Windows XP disc).
If this is a relatively new computer, it means that the trial period for
your OEM version of Word/Office has expired. If this is the case, then your
only option is to purchase a retail copy. If you have previously purchased
a retail copy of Word or Office, then use that disc to Repair or Reinstall
the application.
