I'm not sure I have the correct newsgroups. If not please point me in the
right direction.

I was able to download free software from Circuit City called OfficeReady
Professional 3.0. It is a program add on for Microsoft Word that provides
additional templates, etc. Unfortunately, the installation freezes so I
cancelled and tried again with the same result. I assumed it was not
installed in Microsoft Word. However, when I open Word, I get a few error
messages saying OfficeReady could not register certain add-in's. In
addition, there is an "OfficeReady Professional" entry in the toolbar
between "Tools" and "Table". I checked Add/Remove programs to be sure the
program wasn't installed. I searched the registry and deleted all
OfficeReady entries. Still no luck.

My question is how to I get remove all evidence of OfficeReady from
Microsoft Word? Any thoughts are appreciated.

Go back to the download web site and look for help with
their software from the source. Perhaps the author can
help.

Try installing the program again, then uninstalling it. I had a similar
problem in that the program tried to access the internet during the install.
If I allowed it, the installer crashed, if I denyed it, the installer ran to
completion.

Also, try the program's site for support, I'm sure that Circuit City/Digital
River would be a waste of time.

Hope this helps.

Thanks for the tips. I did contact the manufacturer via email and of course
they did not get back to me.
