Hello to all of you
I am so glad that this site exist. Hopefully one of you may be able to help me out.

After opening Microsoft Word, excell or which ever program from OFFICE 2000 on my laptop (windows home edition xp) I receive the EVIL WINDOW with the the following error: "Microsoft Word for Windows has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the incovenience." It then gives me the option to Send Error Repor

Can someone pleae help me witht this problem
I would really, appreciate your help

Problems like this that affect all office apps, are likely to be caused by
an errant add-in in the Office startup folder i.e. addins that apply to all
the apps - eg Adobe Acrobat, Winfax etc. Remove any such add-ins. If you are
using Norton AV, disable its office plug-in.
