Whenever I try to do an, 'Open With - Paint' on one of
the files in 'My Pictures.' I get the message
that, "Paint has encountered a problem and needs to
close" Why? How do I get Paint restored? I can find
nothing on any of Micro Sucks web sites to answer this
question.

Go to Start/Run and type regedit and press OK. Navigate to the following
key:

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Applets\Paint

Right click the Paint key and select Delete. Press the F5 key to refresh,
close regedit and try Paint again.
