I tried to check if my PC is suitable for Vista. Trying to download it,
puts a vista icon on my desktop. If I click on this I get told to
Download recent MSXML. This takes me to a confusing website listing 4
downloads and a lot of information about vista. Why can I not just
download it and get on with it. I have the following with the folowing
message. Download the files most appropriate for you.

msxml6.msi , msxml6_ia64.msi , msxml6_SDK.msi , msxml6_x64.msi

This does not mean anything to me.

Desmond.

Wrong site, anyway. Download the most recent version of MSXML6.0 here:

The majority of Windows XP users run the 32-Bit Edition.
Start > Run: winver
If you don't see "64-Bit Edition" in the product name, you're running the
classic 32-Bit Version. Download/install "msxml6-KB927977-enu-x86.exe" in
that case and when running the english WinXP version.
