Could anyone tell me how to display the mail recipients name only, not
followed by the actual email address? I am new to Microsoft Mail and have
been using Outlook Express where it worked great. Thanks in advance for any
help.

What you see displayed is for the message composer's benefit only.
The recipient will not see anything different whether that message is sent
with Windows Mail or Outlook Express.
If the display of the email address while you are composing the message
bothers you, you can upgrade to Windows Live Mail, which doesn't do that:

Thank you for your quick response, however I have tested several Window
emails to different recipients and all replied that the email address
followed their name. The purpose of display names in OE was to keep
addresses somewhat secure. This comes in handy when you email two
individuals, wanting them both to know that they each received the email,
without sharing the email address. Reading some of these posted questions it
seems that others would agree. I will check into live mail if there is no
other option.

Unless you use BCC addressing, the email addresses of all recipients
have to be present in the received message. (If they weren't, you would not
be able to do a "Reply All"). It is up to the email program of the recipient
whether it openly displays those addresses or not. I know Outlook hides them
by default. It's been so long since I used Outlook Express that don't remember
how it handles the display of addresses by default, but I'm sure there is a
rather simply way to get those addresses displayed.
