Microsoft Update or Windows Update

I have two shortcuts on my Start Menu, Microsoft Update and Windows Update.
Which one is the newer one, the recommended one? I do not need two versions
of an update function, I think, so I'd rather use the current one and delete
the old one. Doesn't one of them include Office? Thanks.

Microsoft Update is the one to use.

Hi

Use Microsoft Update.

Pete;
Microsoft update is the newer.
The difference is Microsoft Update also checks updates for other
products such as Microsoft Office.
Once Microsoft Update is installed, both links will now go to
Microsoft Update, try it.
Personally I delete the Windows Update link since I do not intend to
go back.

Once you have MS Update installed, the Windows Update shortcut will
redirect itself to MS Update. I usually leave the MS Update pinned to
the top of the start menu and move the Windows Update shortcut to the
desktop for my clients to remind them to "check in" often.
