Microsoft to issue Anti-Spyware software

Its all over the newsgroups, MS has bought a 10 man firm in New York, NY, that
makes anti-spyware, in the next thirty days, they are suppose to issue-
Beta-Software to XP and Server, they then may charge for it after the testing
or make it
a free add on like firewall, popup blocker, ect.

What about buying a firm that makes software with less bugs, less
resource consuming and less bloated ?

So if it is all over the newsgroups, why are YOU posting it
here? D'ya think you are the only one who has seen this bit
of news? D'ya think you are the only one here who spends
time in other groups? Nobody here needs your
interpretation of what is happening in the world.
 
A couple of years ago, it was mentioned that MS had bought some European
antivirus company. I have yet to see antivirus directly integrated into
their Windows.

Actually, just as "gee-whiz info," mind you, Microsoft did purchase and
make a stab at integrating Central Point's AV solution into MS-DOS
6/WFWG3.11. It was a dismal failure.
