Windows XP: My computer update tells me that I need to download service pack
3. But it also tells me that it will take 458minutes to download. How can I
do it when my internet connection terminates after two hours? I presume I
have to stay on the internet to download this pack. Once the internet
connection is terminated the download is also terminated. What do I do?

I dont know the solution to your problem but i would
like to say that i'm having lots of problems myself,
espesially with this windowspatch thing, what is it? why
wont it leave me alone? I dont know how to deal with it.

You may want to ask for more information in a Windows newsgroup. This
newsgroup, microsoft.public.ACCESS, is for the database program
Microsoft ACCESS - not for general questions about any
computer-related issue!

I'd suggest going to http://support.microsoft.com and searching for
Service Pack 3; there's probably a link right on that page. If you do
not have broadband connectivity you can order a CD which will be
delivered in the mail, allowing you to install the service pack.
