CELEBRIN IS UNHAPPY

thanks to msn, games haven't been working and so on,
point is these ARE MICROSOFT GAMES!!!!! XP DOESN@T WORK
WITH THEM AND THEY AREN'T THAT OLD NOR DO THEY CLAIM THEY
DON'T work with XP.... granted they work with some
versions of XP but i have seen 4 XP machines where only 1
version of AOE2 worked on it.... 1 worked 30% of the time
and crashed continuosly and the rest of the time they
freeze on multiplayer screens..their msn messenger system
is out of date on the net when u download it. whihc i
have and won't update itself automatically, so i have to
faff about with tyhe site to find it

NXT point none of their games work with XP!?
NXT Point msn has no proper place to offer advice and im
not phoning for £50 a minute or whatever lousy rate
NXT point the FTP server doesn't even work so i can't
update potentially posssibe working games
NXT point U SUCK MICROSOFT fix ur problem and don't
realease dodgy versions of OS's i was seeing XP as a
beauty but it fails atr everything and is more
unrealiable then any other OS even 95 works these games
100% so going backwards is a problem huh....!

<snip useless rant>

Well hmmm I'm having no problems with any software, Microsoft or otherwise
and personally consider MS games to be to a much higher standard then most.
AoE2 is working fine over here, not had any issues with it on any of my
machines.

If a game wasn't written to work with NT/XP then how is that possibly
Microsoft's fault? They've easily done the best out of any other OS
developer at keeping things backwards compatible.

Not do I not have any problems with MS games, I have no problems with any MS
programs (except the hughe configuration requirements of XP).

You must also not hat each PC out are uniquely configured and that another
software can interact incorrectly with another software. This could be a
problem with any software maker not just Microsoft..

I disagree I think the problem is that too many software firms are set up
and geared to make money rather than to make great products. New games that
require a constant stream of patches, incompatable hardware etc. Who's the
daddy when you feel you have just been ripped off ? would that not be a
certain company that does not have a monopoly, but sets all the standards.
And does not even have a game mode!
