microsoft outlook

I had have an email on outlook that I cannot open or delete for sometime now.
Everytime I click on it, it locks my email up. Everytime I shut down my
computer and I open outlook, it takes me to the very oldest email in my box.
I have always kept one email above the problem one so I wouldn't lock up.
Well of course, that top email was deleted somehow and now when I open my
email it defauts to the oldest one which is the problem one. It locks my
email and I cannot get to any of my other email. Does anyone have any ideas
for me to try? Thank you.

I bought the scan and tried it. $40.00 later problem is still there. Any
other suggestions???

You should have used the free scan.pst that was referenced at the beginning
of the article...it is already on your computer, and it gave instructions
where to find it.

You didn't need to buy anything.

If none of the other ideas work, why not just create a new PST, make it your
delivery location, then copy everthing EXCEPT the bad message to it, finally
deleting the PST containing the bad message?
 
Sorry Tom, but I'm not very savvy on computers. I actually don't know what
article you are referring to.
I appreciated the gentleman's advice. There was a free partial scan, but if
you wanted everything cleaned up you had to pay for it. It didn't help me.
It wasn't Ben's fault.
Do you have any suggestions on what might help or did you just want to
comment?
