within outlook, do file - import and export - export to a file and export it
to a .pst file. If the pc's are networked and the location of the file you
exported is shared, you can do the reverse by file - import and export -
import from another file - personal folder file.
If they're not networked, then burn the .pst to CD. Paste the file from CD
to a location on the destination pc, make sure the file attribute "read-only"
is not ticked and run file import and export to import the .pst on the
destination pc's outlook client

No NO NO!

Why bother? Just copy the original pst file!

How can I transfer my contact/addresses from one PC to another?

Ignore what rf posted. Just find your pst file (if you are using XP or W2K
it's a hidden file) and copy it (with Outlook closed). Move the copy to your
new machine, do NOT paste it over the existing pst file. Then in Outlook go
to File-Open-Outlook Data File and navigate to the old file. Copy all the
data you need into the new pst file.
