microsoft Outlook problem

When i close Outllok it remains running, and shows in the processes.
It will even download e-mail.

Any Ideas

How about an Outlook group?
microsoft.public.outlook.general perhaps?

I have the same behavior when my pocketPC is connected via Activesync. I
have to disconnect the pocketPC before Outlook will close completely. I
believe that this is due to the fact that ActiveSync is trying to keep the
contacts and calendar in sync.

Similarly, if I connect the pocketPC before launching Outlook, outlook will
launch but will not show up in the task bar.
