I removed Microsoft Office from my computer as I have switched to
OpenOffice.org. But then I realized that Outlook is part of Office and lost
my E-mail messages. (I did this once before when reinstalling all my
software. But I did not learn from the experience.)

Can anyone tell me where the E-mail files are located? Did I delete them
with the rest of Office?

Thanks.

The default file location is:
C:\Documents and Settings\User Account\Local Settings\Application
Data\Microsoft\Outlook

User Account is your username on the PC. There will be one for each User
Account on the PC if you have more than one user that has set up an
individual profile.

Right. Thank you.

Dear Most Vulgar Person,

Don't you know how to set your Clock / Time zone???

Goodbye. This post is history for me as well.

They should be somewhere in these directories:

C:\Documents and Settings\USERNAME\Local Settings\Application Data\Microsoft\Outlook\

Where USERNAME is your own!!!

Why would want to remove Microsoft Office? Just keep it there unless you are
running out of disk space.

Regards,
