The instruction at "Ox35f844d8" reference memory at "0x35d5a170â€. The memory
could not be "read"
Click on OK to terminate program.
What must I do to get rid of this message?
I have reloaded from CD but no change.

That is not the complete error message. Should be something like Application Error:
xxxxxxx the instruction at "Ox35f844d8" reference memory at "0x35d5a170â€. The
memory could not be "read"

Can you post it in it's complete form

Thanks Peter... this is more or less the complete message that is seen after
i upgraded to MSN Live 9 that put in an outlook connector in my outlook. i
did not like coneecter so removed it useing Ccleaener and since then after i
close outlook the message comes.
i have added you on my msn chat.

the instruction at "Ox35f844d8" referenncec memory at "0x35d5a170" . the
memory could not be "read"
click on ok to terminate program

I have basically the same message when I close Outlook 2003. The correct
message is "The instruction at "Ox35f844d8" reference memory at "0x35d5a170â€.
The memory
could not be "read"
Click on OK to terminate program" -- This represents the correct
punctuation, if that is important.

Does anyone have an answer to this problem. It only occurred just after I
downloaded the monthly updates for Windows XP (Professional).

Same problem here - came right after installing the February 2009 Microsoft
updates. The problem occurs EVERY time I close Outlook 2003.
I hope that Microsoft will do something about it - very annoying!

Hi Anders MP

Yes, the problem did occur after downloading the February Updates. I am
wondering too whether Microsoft knows about the problem and whether anyone
else has experienced it. I uninstalled the 'netframework' 3.5 February update
but his has not made any difference.

The one positive thing that has happened since the last post is that
Microsoft now allows me to report the problem every time it occurs, which is
every time I close Outlook.

I report the problem each time. I just hope Microsoft come up with a "fix"
soon.
