Microsoft office

my friend started to download office onto my XPHome edit.
then stopped half way through. Now I can't use any of my
Word applications, spell check (not even in outlook),
nothing that office would have replaced. I've tried
reloading the Office programs, but it won't let me. Nor
will it let me delete any of the "installed" programs off
my computer. Suggestions? Do I have to wipe out my entire
hardrive and reload everything?

I don't mean to be harsh, but few people here care very much if you have
trouble downloading a pirated copy of MS Office from a friend. You are much
more likely to get help if you are having trouble with a copy of Office that
you purchased your local store. And if I've misunderstood and you do have a
legitimate copy of Office, try one of the microsoft.public.office family of NGs
for help with your problem.
