When you use Net Meeting you must identify the IP of your pc, if you are
using a router how would you identify your ip. If you do an ipconfig from
the cmd prompt it gives you the address of the router

Basically, the H323 protocol used by netmeeting is very firewall/router
unfriendly. It was designed in the days when the normal connection was by
unfirewalled ISDN modem, and so there was no need to allow for multiple
client IPs, or to be economic over the number of ports used.

You could get a Netmeeting-capable router, or setup a Netmeeting gateway on
a suitable computer. Both are nontrivial solutions.

Or get Skype.

Alternatively there is Teamspeak, though you need to run your own server for
that.
