Microsoft Messenger Updates.... Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr!!!

Hi:

This is driving me nuts! I amplagued evry time I start
my computer (and at other times too) by a Windows Update
notification that I have to repeatedly click "No" to get
rid of. I don't use windows meddenger and have disabled
the service. I have also disabled automatic updates .
How do I get rid of the major annoyance from XP Pro SP1???

Windows Messenger <> MSN Messenger
Sheesh. I wonder how you disabled it and missed that..

You can uninstall MSN messenger if you like.. Add/Remove Programs -->
Add/Remove Windows Components --> unckeck windows messenger.

Hope you update often from :
http://windowsupdate.microsoft.com/

Hope you have up-to-date Antivirus software.
Hope you scan your system for spy/ad/mal-ware often.
