Salaam, Mohammad
I am not sure I understand your question. You should probably explain it
in more detail. Also, break it down into shorter sentences.
However ...
I guess your question is this: You run the new Taskpad View wizard in
MMC. You create a new MMC taskpad. Under the Taskpad Reuse panel, you
de-select the checkbox for "Make this the default taskpad for these tree
items". You complete the wizard and your new taskpad is create in the
MMC. Next, you run "Edit Taskpad View" and look under the Options
button. There you see that the "Make this the default taskpad for these
tree items" checkbox is now checked; even though you de-selected it when
you created the task. Why is this checkbox still checked?
I believe this is normal behaviour in MMC, although I agree it is a bit
confusing.
The "Make this the default taskpad for these tree items" checkbox only
has an effect, if you have defined multiple Taskpads for the same tree.
For example, you might have 3 taskpads called "Foo", "Bar" and "Baz"
defined, for the same tree. If you want taskpad Baz to be the default
Taskpad, you would select the checkbox when creating, or editing Baz. If
you want Foo to be the default taskpad for the view, you need to
deselect the checkbox for Baz, then make sure it is checked on Foo.
Every time you edit a taskpad, the checkbox will be checked. This is
normal. It means, in effect: whichever taskpad I edit or create last, is
the taskpad that I want to be the default. If you want to edit a taskpad
without making it the default, then you must manually de-select the
checkbox. In other words, the order in which you edit or create the
multiple taskpads is significant.
Even if the taskpad is not the default, the user can select it just by
clicking on the taskpad "Baz" tab in the right-hand pane of MMC. Setting
the default to Foo, Bar or Baz is just a minor convenience for the end user.
This Taskpad wizard is a rather confusing UI, but that's how it was
designed. In any case, it is not very common to have multiple taskpads
defined in MMC. Each taskpad can contain *many* commands. You would
usually only have multiple taskpads if the set of tasks had very
distinct roles or functions.
I hope this helps! If it doesn't answer your problem, then please
explain what you need in more (and clearer

detail.
Good luck,
Andrew
