This is a new problem. Microsoft Mail locks up when I ask it to print. I
have no problems with any other application (that I've found yet).

Any suggestions? thanks

Yes, The dialogue box that usually opens allows me to chose a printer, but
in this case I get no dialogue box. It just locks up and I have to kill it
with the Task Manager.

thanks

Try going to the Control panel, Classic view and select printers,
right click on your printer and select - Set as default printer,
you should see a green circle with a check mark.

Can you print from Internet Explorer? (WinMail uses the IE print engine.)

I also have the same problem. I never had it before. It just won't print
from MicroSoft Mail and it is driving me crazy. I also have to use Task
Manager to close the e-mail package. I see no solution to this problem yet
posted...

Help...

Same problem as what? We prefer that you quote the message you are
responding to, in order to have continuity.

Can you print from Internet Explorer?

Incidentally, there is no program named "Microsoft Mail". It will be
helpful if you use the correct program name so we can help you better.

Same problem, As in: Windows Mail, when you Click on Print, it locks up, but
can print from every others application - Either reboot or Task Manager to
close WIndows mail, which opens and send/receives mail, but will not print.
Connected to ATT internet DSL. Pictures print, Word Prints, My appraisal
software prints, but not Windows mail. And yes my printer is selected as teh
default printer, and I have rebooted several times.

Whats up with WIndows Mail? VIsta Home Premium 32 bit.

#1: We know we are talking about Windows Mail... Sorry for the word change.

#2: I'm referring to the same problem as the original person. I can no
longer print from this package.

#3: I can print from every other package known to man other than Windows
Mail. When I try to print from Windows mail, my computer locks up and
crashes.

#4: Obviously I'm not the only person with this problem. If you can solve
it, please offer suggestion. If you want to criticize the way the problem is
being presented, please just shut up...

THANKS
