I accidentally deleted the tool bar in MS Mail and cannot figure out to get
it back.
Help

Right click near the top of the Windows Mail window>toolbar.

Or on the View menu>layout>toolbar>apply/OK

I have a different problem as I do not want to see search bar and views bar
and all the time you apply for leaving these bars, as soon as I close windows
mail it returns again and there is no way to work without it

do anybody know an efficient way to completely remove these two bars ?

Click on View, then Layout. Click on the Check marks for the bars
you want to remove, then Apply, then OK.

I think I've read that if you want them to appear after that, press
the Alt key.

tks a lot for your help but I´ve been doing this a thousand of times and
every time the windows mails restart I have to do it again as it do not keeps
the layout

if anyone has another idea please submit

Perhaps you are using a third party security program that is preventing
writes to the registry, which means the changes aren't saved.

Yes Gary, you´re right
I have Trend Micro Internet Security

do you think is this the problem ?
should I uninstall or just turn it off for some moments and after do the
changes , turn it on again ?

tks a lot

For some problems caused by a recent version of the Trend
antivirus program, you have to uninstall it, not just disable it,
to stop it from causing problems. You may then need to remove
your email account under Windows Mail, then restart Windows
Mail and create the account again.

If this solves your problem, you may want an antivirus program
that doesn't cause such problems. I recommend either avast!
or AVG, either one with a custom install that tells it to leave
out the part that scans email.

I can tell you all that it is not the 3rd party software. It is a bug in
windows mail.I have the same thing happening ad I'm not connected to the
internet and I have no type of protection on my p.c..Virus,spamguard,etc. on
my p.c. at all.I migrate my mail from my laptop.

The Google Toolbar is also known to cause problems in Windows Mail.
If you have it installed on your machine, uninstall it.
