microsoft keyboard problem

my caps lock on my keyboard only takes it to upper case
now,i have to go to the left shift button to go back to
lower case
i have reinstalled it , checked the settings etc. i can
find nothing wrong. i have tried another keyboard, a new
one borrowed from our office and it does the same with
that too.this problem has just occured after months of use
any advice
 
Try uninstalling any software you isntalled for the keyboard and remove
it from Device Manager (Click Start-Run-Type devmgmt.msc and click OK).
Reboot and see if that helps anything. Also, check the right shift and
make sure it isn't stuck and check the keyboard settings in the Control
Panel ;)

as i said i have done all that twice over and tried a new
keyboard (borrowed)and nothing cures it
there is no disk with this keboard it's a bog standard
microsoft internet keyboard
