Sorry to repeat this question but I only got one answer
and he said "no, it's not legit and told me how to do a
defrag and disc clean-up." I understand I can do that to
do a tune up myself but am still curious if this does or
doesn't come from Microsoft because it looks like it does
and from searching everywhere there is such a thing as a
Microsoft tune-up. Thanks
I got a pop up (?) and at the top it says "Tune Up Wizard -
Microsoft Internet Explorer" Is this legit? Is this
coming from Microsoft and has anyone else go this and done
it? If it is legit ould someone please explain what it
does and is it a good thing
to do? Is it the same as doing a disc clean-up and defrag
or is Nicholas right in saying it is just not legit? I
suspect everything now. If it is a good thing to do
should I select automatic or manual? Thank you so
much in advance. Susan

I have seen ads 4 such accelerators that may pre-fetch
links & ... Tried 1 but noticed NO improvement.
Switched 2 Road Runner - BIG improvement!

Any advice given is my attempt to show appreciation for all
the excellent help I've received here but I'm no MVP so it
may only apply NUGS (Normally, Usually, Generally, Sometimes :)

It is NOT legit. It is NOT from Microsoft. It is an advertisement that they
try to get you to click on.

Everybody,
Thank you so much for your answers. I really appreciate
it. There is just no getting away from this stuff! We
have Zone Alarm Pro and I disabled the messanger stuff on
the computer to get rid of those other annoying pop up
things that started lately but I still keep getting this
one. Have a good weekend everyone!
Sincerely, Susan
