Nope. But there's an open office (http://www.openoffice.org/) that
supposedly does a decent job. I can't say from personal experience, but
others in this group have used it.

No, you cannot "get Excel on your laptop without paying for it"!
Go out and purchase the "full version" of Microsoft Excel 2002
or Microsoft Office XP.

Only the same way you can get a car without paying for it. By
stealing it. Are you sure that's what you want to do?

You stupid ****, in what way would having another installation of Excel (or any other MS product) be thievery. Of all the posters I have seen here to date, you have the poorest sense of logic I have ever seen!

Therefore, he either needs to purchase Excel or Office in order to install
Excel on his laptop. He can download open office as well. I've never used
it, so I can't say how good it is, but I know others in this newsgroup use
it.

Mike.

"don't have the disc" can have two meanings. The OP may have lost the disk.
I provided a link to Microsoft's replacement orders for lost, damaged, etc.
installation media. If the OP can provide Microsoft with ownership data, the
cost of replacement media is much less {very much less} than purchasing the
product again. The other meaning is that the OP is not at the location of
the OP's home computer.
