Does any one know of a good manual/handbook to use Microsoft Equation 3.0
efficiently, preferable a PDF file? By handbook/manual I mean comprehensive
instructions on using this feature, including shortcut keys, etc.
Cheers:)

I wouldn't sya that it's a complete handbook by ant stretch of the
imagination, but have have a look at www.nwarwick.co.uk. Under the Word
section there is a small tutorial on using the editor, with a few shortcut
keys etc. which might be of use.

The help file is pretty useful. For example, it lists keyboard
shortcuts. You can print them for reference.

If you encounter a specific problem, just ask for help on the
newsgroups!

There are also Tech Notes at www.dessci.com, the Web site of Design Science,
which makes Equation Editor.

thank you. help is rather good, but sometimes I find a hard copy next to me
works well.:-)

FWIW, the last "hard copy" I saw on the Equation Editor was the separate EE
manual that shipped with Word for Windows 2.0! That version also included
separate manuals for Microsoft Graph and Microsoft Draw. I suspect that none
of these applets has changed drastically since 1992. <g>
