What's the deal with your corporate licensing? I heard that it's almost
$200 a year for just MS Access alone, when I could go into Best Buy or
Circuit City and buy the ENTIRE OFFICE SUITE FOR $200 OUTRIGHT (WITH
ACCESS!!!)

Why is this so?

You can buy the Student & Teacher edition of Office for $200, but you
can't upgrade it or install Service Packs. The full version still tops
out around $400.

Yeah, that may be so (and by the way, I fould MS Office 2003 Pro for $280.)

But...with the corporate licensing model, you have to pay an absurd amount
of money for just MS Access alone, and then whatever they charge for the
rest of the suite. I'm just saying that it's cheaper just to buy Office
outright.

Can you answer why that is so?

No offense meant.
Microsoft wants to make tons of money. Just like anyone else would
like to do. Including me.

Anyway, I thought Microsoft stop those subscriptions with office.
