computer and noticed a file called dmserver.dll the odd thing is the company
name is Microsoft Corp. The rest of the files have Microsoft Corporation as
the company name. Should I be concerned?

dmserver.dll is a Windows system file involved with disk volume
management. No need for concern. Leave it alone.

Steve

It's a .dll file that is responsible for the service that detects and
monitors new hard disk drives and sends disk volume information to
Logical Disk Manager Administrative Service for configuration. If this
service is stopped, dynamic disk status and configuration information
might become outdated. If this service is disabled, any services that
explicitly depend on it will fail to start.

There is no need to be concerned.

Ron,

You should only be concerned if you are NOT using Microsoft Operating
system.
