Hi all..... Just installed the latest updates including the new anti
virus offering from Microsoft. Now where can I find it in order to run
it? I thought it would be accessible from the Security Center in Control
Panel but I don't see it.

Thanks

Hi

Have you had a look at 'View installation history' on the Windows Update
page?

Hi Will... Thanks for the quick reply. Just checked that out and it says
the malicious software removal tool installation successful. It doesn't
say where it is located or how to run it, at least not that I can see.

Hi

Click in the left hand column under 'Update Name'. You'll see some info.
about the Update.

You need to read the KB Article that describes the use of this
tool. The tool is updated the second Tuesday of each month, appears as a
"Critical Update" on the Windows Update site, and runs only when
"downloaded." Nothing is installed; there's nothing to run at a later
date; there's nothing to ever uninstall.
