MS had previous stated that AntiSpyware would "remain" free for personal use
but will be a "chargable" service for Business. We just need to "wait and
see!"

Is it likely that From January next year, M$ Antispyware software will
not be free?

My Beta version expires on 31/12/2005 and it looks like I may have to
pay a subcription from next year should I decide to continue using it!!

Any cracks in pipeline to bypass uncle Bill's new money making
venture?

Why are so many people against Bill Gates? I mean look at it this way...
Webroot, trend micro, and eTrust are all making money off of their
antispyware products then why can't Microsoft charge for theirs? It is a
luxury they are for now providing you for free. Maybe Microsoft should have
never done anything for free and charged from the start... I would if I heard
ungrateful people like you talking!

Bill, Mike Nash and just about every other MS bigwig has repeatedly stated
that MWAS will be free to all users of supported, licensed Windows versions
when released, Kevin.

Um, because if it wasn't for the shoddy code in all the MicroOSs that
was the breeding ground that allowed spyware to rise out of the
primordial oose, we wouldn't need anti-spyware products.
