Help! Im trying to do some sound recording from my Nintendo DS. I
using a cord from my DS soundtrack to my computer that has the sam
end on each side

Everything works fine and records fine, but I need to be able to hea
whats going on while I record it. When I go to sound properties ther
is no microphone volume. Then I went to sound properties' propertie
(under file) and there isnt even a microphone check box unde
"playback".

All the other comps I have been on have had this. I have the lates
drivers for sigma tel audio. (Maybe the driver is a bad one?) I hav
a laptop that is about a year old from Dell that has never ha
something pluged in to its line in/microphone imput til' now

Can someone help me out

Thanks!
Jenn

It doesn't play back through the microphone, just the same way that you
don't record through the speakers. It's a one-way street.

And are you sure you want to hear *while* you're recording? Unless you can
get far enough away from your speakers, you're going to get some pretty
nasty feedback.
