microphone no longer working after installing SP2

Title says it all.

Just can't get the microphone to work. (via Audigy 2 Live)

Device manager doesn't show up anything naughty looking.
[Sound and Audio Devices][Sound recording] looks right.
Event viewer is clean (apart from a load of mrxsmb 3019 errors).
Mixer Line-In/Microphone are NOT muted.
Mixer Line-In/Microphone volume controls are working.
Microphone works on another machine.
Un/Reinstall of Audigy software & latest patches made no difference.

Was all fine before installing SP2 (and a Logitech DiNovo keyboard).

Any ideas on a fix would be greatly appreciated.
 
That didn't work either however...

I eventually did manage to fix the problem by removing the card, doing
a reboot/shutdown, reseated the card and rebooted again.

Must have been some sort of PCI glitch.
